Hi! today we were learning how to persuade people heres mine.

Bucket filling and Bucket dipping

 These are examples of Bucket filling and Bucket dipping from the 4 storys that we read Bucket filling is when if you help somebody then you fill up they're bucket and your bucket will get filled too now Bucket dipping is when if you be rude to somebody they're bucket will spill and you will feel your bucket drip.

Science Fair.

Kea did a science fair last term. The science fair was fun and the science fair was happening in the school hall.There was our science fair boards set up on the white tables and our projects. My table was near the exit next to the hoihos star project and next to the kitchen. Our science fair started at 2:00 Pm so we had Number talks and writing in the morning and then we had morning tea and play time then we had story chat and lunch time in the afternoon and play time again.Then thats when it was almost 2:00! So you know what that means? SCIENCE FAIR! So before we went to the science fair kea packed up room 5,6 and 7. Then we put everything that was in the classrooms in the middle. After that we all got free time so everyone went into waka tahi, got there chromebooks and played minecraft education edition. Finally it was 2:00! so everyone saved and exited there minecraft world and shut down there chromebooks. After we put our chromebooks in the safe (Where all the school chromebooks go) but the students who had there own chromebook they had to put it in there bags. After that we all ran to the hall and stood near our tables my project was about tornados we also had groups and my group was Me,Ahliya,Lazarius,Junior and Jeff. As we stood near our tables waiting for people to come family,children,teachers and students from wesley intermidiate started coming into the hall. There was other kinds of boards too. The ones I remember were so number 1 is Glaciers:Which is the best way to melt ice? number 2 Liquid:What liquid causes the most erosion? Anyways all my group had to do was if anyone came to our board was to tell them our role. So i was the Questioner, Ahliya and Lazarius was Scientists, Junior was the Greeter and Jeff was the Experiencer. We showed them our Project board and talked a little about it and show them our experiment. This is what we used for our experiment: 1:Water bottle. 2:Glitter. 3:Funnel. 4:Coloured Dye. How to make the Tornado: Pour 1/4 of water out from the water bottle then pour Colour dye inside the water bottle than get a paper and shape it like a cone. Then get some glitter and pour it through the f
unnel, than put back on the lid of the water bottle and shake it and than turn it upside down than put your weak hand on the top and your strong hand on the bottom and twist! If you look closley into the bottle than you will see your tornado it will spin really quickly so make sure to look quickly. After the Science fair some people went to class and got there bags and some people stayed in the hall and packed up everything after the people who stayed in the hall after the people who were in the hall finsished they all ran to class to get there bags and go to there parents and some had to wait around the school or in the office so than before 4:00 everyone went home for the Holidays.
